After concluding an historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore on Tuesday, U.S President, Donald Trump is expected to leave for America at 12pm Nigeria time.
Having held a press conference with journalists in Singapore where he disclosed some of the key points of the document he signed with Kim, the American President has moved straight to his Capella Resort on Sentosa Island, a popular vacation spot off the southern tip of Singapore and home to Universal Studios Singapore.
The US president also drew attention to what he claimed was the warm personal chemistry established between the two leaders to argue that it represented a breakthrough.
The joint statement, signed by the leaders after five hours of talks, laid out a basic bargain. “President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong-un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,” it read.
