Senate President, Bukola Saraki has congratulated Senator, Ademola Adeleke for his victory in Saturday’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Primary ahead of Osun State election.
Saraki stated this on Sunday after the 4th convocation of Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, where he pointed out that his intention to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC) has not been finalised.
“As I said recently, when it is time, I will tell Nigerians where I am and I am going to do that very soon.”
“Apart from being a member of PDP, he is a colleague of mine in the Senate. I could see he is popular and well accepted. So, I wish him all the best in the election ahead.”
It will be recall that Adeleke, who became senator after winning a by-election occasioned by the death of his brother in April 2017, won Saturday’s primary by polling 1, 569 votes.
