Director General of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu has called for a thorough fight against Religious, ethnic and tribal sentiments as she marks Eid-el-Fitri with Muslim faithfuls in the state on Friday.
Dr Edu, on record remains the youngest woman to have been appointed under the administration of Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade.
Known for her philanthropist nature and strong health care services, Dr Edu, who spent time reaching out to the less privilege during Eid-el-Fitri celebration, stated via her official Facebook handle that Nigerians must stand against religious and ethnic divisions.
“But what if we give love a chance in our country Nigeria!… what if we rise above ethnicity, religion and tribalism? What if we can just act and treat everyone like our brothers and sisters.”
