Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has charged the people of Ekiti to cast their vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi in the July 14 elections.
Osinbajo stormed Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday to kickstart Fayemi’s campaign rally alongside some key members of the party such as the National Chairman of APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, former Governors Adeniyi Adebayo and Segun Oni of Ekiti State, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Azeez Yari of Zamfara State, Rafiu Aregbesola (Osun), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Solomon Lalong (Plateau) and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun, among others, who were in attendance.
The VC stated that Ekiti deserve a credible and worthy governor that would deliver them from the bondage of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He said: “Vote for APC so that we can make progress together, vote the progressive party and let us join the progressive train by voting for Dr Fayemi on July 14th.”
Meanwhile, national leader of APC, Senator Bola Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande also extended their goodwill messages to the people of the state, as they demand for their total support for Dr Fayemi.
