Ekiti Election: Saturday's Governorship Election Will Test INEC Readiness For 2019 Elections - Speaker

Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon Kola Oluwawole, says the July 14 (Saturday) Governorship Election is a litmus test for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to determine their readiness for the 2019 general elections.

Oluwawole, who’s a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said in a statement by his Special Assistant (Media), Stephen Gbadamosi that the Party’s governorship representative, Professor Kolapo Olusola would receive massive vote from the people on Saturday.

“We thank you for your usual support for the PDP. This time around, we have a heavy task in our hands. This governorship election will be the litmus test for 2019. We must reject the party of killers right on Saturday.

“Let us vote enmass for Professor Kolapo Olusola of the PDP. Our best bet is continuity. We don’t want to return to Egypt. We are moving forward with the unprecedented development of our state.

“Let me assure you that the Otun-Ekiti township road that the administration of Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose started will be completed by his administration. Every force millitating against its completion shall be subdued in Jesus name. “We are no longer voting a government of debt. We say no to government that sacks teachers. We say no to government that would bring cows to sleep on our beds. We say no to government that would submit our lives to gunmen,” he said.
